Woodboro was established March 21, 1893 by the Oneida County Board of Supervisors from the town of Pelican. The original town included all the present towns of Cassian, Little Rice, Lynn and Nokomis. Present day Woodboro covers an area of 36 sq. miles, consisting of 54 miles of town road. The population is approximately 700 full time residents and grows greatly when our summer residents arrive. The Town Board meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6 pm at the town hall at 8672 Old Hwy K Rd.
